On Sunday, June 14th (Hall of Fame and Alumni Day), we are officially revealing the 50 legends and sponsors who are being inducted into the brand-new KMSPL Hall of Fame and Lifetime Recognition Program! AND unveiling a NEW award in recognition and celebration of Peter Harding.

To all of our Alumni: 

If you haven’t been out to the park in a while, THIS IS THE DAY TO CHANGE THAT! This entire celebration is dedicated to you and the incredible legacy you helped build over the last five decades.

Come on down, grab a bite at our FREE league-sponsored BBQ from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and find out if you—or your old teammates—have been inducted into the Hall of Fame!

In keeping with our 50-year legacy of community support and giving back, we will also be hosting a food drive for The West Island Mission during the event. Please bring whatever non-perishable food items you can spare to help support this critical local cause and help our fellow West Islanders in need!

A Hall of Fame is a lasting institution dedicated to honoring individuals and partners whose exceptional talent, unwavering dedication, and support have sustained and grown a league's legacy. This program, the KMSPL Hall of Fame and Lifetime Recognition Program, serves to immortalize the icons who built and participated in the league over five decades. Induction bestows the ultimate recognition, celebrating honorees—including players, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors, for their vital contributions to the KMSPL's history and spirit.

Dust off your cleats and grab your gloves! As the Kirkland Men’s Slo-Pitch League (KMSPL) hits its historic 50th Anniversary milestone, we are thrilled to announce the official launch of the KMSPL Hall of Fame and Lifetime Recognition Program!

For half a century, this league has been fueled by absolute talent, grit, and a community spirit that just won’t quit. Now, it’s time to immortalize the icons who built and participated in this KMSPL legacy.

THE ROAD TO IMMORTALITY:

INDUCTION CATEGORIES

To kick off our 50th year, our goal is to induct approximately 50 legends and sponsors. Here is how the selection process was established to enter the "Hall of Fame":

• Legends (Lifetime Recognition): The true veterans! 30+ years of service. (Must be retired, or active and aged 70+).

• Builders (Executive): The architects of our league. 10+ years of leadership. (Must be retired, or active and aged 65+).

• Volunteers: Our unsung heroes. Exceptional off-field contributions. (Must be retired, or active and aged 65+).

• Coaches: The masterminds. 10+ years of service. (Must be retired, or active and aged 65+).

• All-Time MVP: Reserved for the absolute elite with staggering stats (OPS/RBIs). Strictly limited to one per year. (Must be retired).

• Sponsors: The backbone of KMSPL. 20+ years of unwavering support.
