We are extremely honoured to announce that The Honourable Francis Scarpaleggia, Speaker of the House of Commons, will join us as our special guest and deliver the Keynote Address as part of this historic evening.

Guests will enjoy a full buffet dinner, soft drinks, coffee, dessert, and special KMSPL bar pricing in a fun and elegant setting built for laughter, stories, memories, and reconnecting with friends from every era of the league.

An Evening of Comedy, Trivia & Entertainment

Get ready to laugh! Comedian Rodney Ramsey will bring his stand-up comedy to the KMSPL Gala for a special live performance. Rodney is a Montreal comedian known for his energetic stage presence, sharp observations, and ability to connect with a crowd. His comedy will add a completely different element to the evening and give everyone another reason to look forward to the Gala.

Rodney will also be joined by Jay Farrar from the CJAD 800 Trivia Show for a special live trivia segment that will get the room involved and put everyone's knowledge to the test.

Add in a DJ and music throughout the evening, and we have a full night of entertainment planned to keep the 50th Anniversary celebration going long after dinner.

​

An important part of the evening will be dedicated to recognizing the people who helped make the KMSPL what it is today. We will proudly showcase our inaugural KMSPL Hall of Fame Inductees, honoring some of the most influential players, coaches, volunteers, executives, and sponsors from the league's first 50 years.

​

The evening will also feature the presentation of several prestigious KMSPL Awards, along with one of the biggest announcements of our 50th Anniversary year, the unveiling of the KMSPL All-Time Most Valuable Player.

​

Giving back to our community has been an important part of our entire 50th Anniversary season, and that will continue at the Gala. We will be holding a food drive in support of the West Island Mission, and we encourage every guest to bring non-perishable food items to help local families in need.

Semi-formal attire.
